The fiery politician had last week surprised journalists and supporters when he turned up with Karen Wagenye as his running mate to present his nomination papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision (IEBC). Most locals woke up to flooded streets following heavy rains from the last two days, with water accumulating on their doorsteps and homesteads.
