The fiery politician had last week surprised journalists and supporters when he turned up with Karen Wagenye as his running mate to present his nomination papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision (IEBC). He had weeks earlier unveiled former student leader at Laikipia University James Gathungu as his running mate.
